KB Krusha

KB Krusha (Krusha Agricultural Cooperative) was established after the war in Kosovo, in 2005, in the village of Krusha e Madhe, Municipality of Rahovec. It was initiated by a group of women who survived the war massacre, determined to take their fate into their own hands by starting a business that contributes to the local economy and empowers women. KB Krusha specializes in vegetable processing, mainly producing:

Peppers stuffed with cheese or cabbage

• Traditional Ajvar
• Various pickles
• Tomato sauce, tomato juice, and other condiments
• Preserved products such as roasted peppers in oil

Their products are processed in a traditional and artisanal way, maintaining original recipes and using 100% natural ingredients, without preservatives or artificial additives. KB Krusha has expanded its market beyond Kosovo, exporting to countries in the European Union, the United States of America, and others. This makes it a successful model for small and medium-sized enterprises in the agro-food sector.

One of the most important aspects of KB Krusha is: About 90% of the workers are women, most of whom are war widows. The company plays a vital role in rural economic development and the social inclusion of women in Krusha and surrounding areas.
